On Saturday the 15th of June, Isla del Tango is co-organising a lovely Argentine Event called Parilla, Vino y Tango at Bottegin Palazzo Xara in St. Paul’s Street in Rabat.
Dining Options
  • You may choose to partake in a gorgeous 4 course Argentine parilla (grill) paired with wine (see menu below).  Special price for pre-booked tango dancers & friends so email us now. Booking recommended.
  • You may choose to choose items from a menu.
  • You may choose not to eat.
This special milonga is offered free courtesy of Bottegin + Isla del Tango.
Isla del Tango is planning a minimum of 3 hours milonga.  The dancing will start at 8.30pm.  It would be great to have you as early as possible.  Factor in the parking in the area.
Maestro Eric Jorissen, Malta’s tango-daddy will be in attendance.
It will be great to have you all.  Friends & family welcome. No booking is needed for the milonga but it would be nice if you drop us a line if you can make it so we can better prepare.

Parilla, Vino y Tango – An Argentine Experience

A 4 course menu paired with wine and a tango

1st Course Parilla: Mix De Esparragos Con Jamon Cocido Asado / BBQ Tender asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, topped with toasted breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and balsamic vinegar.  Vino: Bodegas Callia “Alta” Shiraz Rose.  Tango:  Color de Rosa, Orchestra Lucio Demare (1928)


2nd Course Parilla:  Brochette de Camarones / Lemon pepper marinated prawn skewers, served with a mango and chimmichuri sauce.  Vino:  Bodegas Callia Torrontes Reservado.  Tango:  Naranjo en Flor, Orchestra Pedro Laurenz (1944)

Main Course Parilla:  Bife Ancho / 350g of Prime Argentine Angus Rib-Eye cooked to your liking while basted with Chimichurri sauce.  Vino:  Bodegas Callia “Magna” Malbec.  Tango:  Aromas, Orchestra Osmar Maderna (1923)

Postre:  Dulce de Leche Tartaletas / Caramel tartlets.  Vino:  Moscato Sweet Wine.  Tango:  Ahi va el Dulce, Orchestra Francisco Canaro (1932)
